Worm Cocoons (red wriggler eggs) Hatch your own Batch!
These tiny little eggs make the tiniest little omelets! No but seriously, if you need to give your soil some life you can plant these directly into your garden to raise the worm population. You will get 16 cocoon eggs and instructions that you can later feed to the worms!
Just keep in mind they will need plenty of organic matter to feed from and moist dark places to hide.

Local Pick UP is in 78745 of Austin, TX. We are in a residential area just South of Ben White off Congress or S. I-35.
For the worm orders by the pound, we will either bag them up in a breathable bag or fill up a 32oz yogurt cup with lid, we don’t endorse the brand but we do re-purpose the cups so that you have an easy way to bring your new pets home. It is meant as a temporary containment so that you can easily transport them to their new home. Please also understand that most living organisms (example: worms) can not survive being left in a hot car!
Worms will be hand harvested and sold by weight. Some bedding my be added after weighing. 1 pound is approximately 800-1000+ worms. Smaller half pound Feeder cups can be made and will contain over 200 worms.
Please understand the worms are not available for pick up until we harvest your order. So basically you are ordering in advance, we will confirm your order and harvest closest to the time you set for pickup. Because your satisfaction and convenience is a priority, you may set the time/day of pick for anytime/day of the week you need. The prices below include tax and shipping.

Worms being sent through the mail will be bagged in some bedding to make the trip. You can later reuse the bag for a tea bag when you have worm compost. You may also feed the worms the box they come in, just remove the tape and shred the cardboard.

If no one will be able to receive the package at the home or place of business, please send a note with your order stating that you need your package to be held at the post office. We don’t wont worms sitting through weather extremes! We also don't want them sitting over the weekend so you will be contacted before your package is shipped to ensure the best day for receiving.

Coir Soil Amendment
Coir bricks can be turned into a soil amendment to add to potting mix / garden soil, and makes for a great worm bedding. The bricks are easy to handle and store. When ready to use just add water about (3 gallons), wait for it to soak up and expand, (around an hour) and stir to a soil consistency.
Coir is a natural fiber that comes from coconuts and is a renewable alternative to peat moss and perlite. When used as planting substrate it works in a symbiotic relationship to plant roots to protect from disease.
It has spongy characteristics; expands up several times in volume with water and holds excellent air space allowing for drainage. You may find that it has many uses not only as a worm bed but can be used in hydroponics, seed germination, and gardens. We started about 80 seeds with 1 brick using 2 and 4 inch pots.

Black Soldier Fly Larva Grubs
